Hey there! I’m Frank.
I grew up in Rhode Island, right in the heart of the restaurant business. That’s where I picked up my work ethic and a deep love for food—honestly, if you read my fiction, you’ll probably notice my characters are always eating! I even landed on a cooking show once for a deer shoulder recipe back when I lived in Virginia. These days, I’m leaning more toward being a vegetarian (I’m a bit obsessed with kale), but I still appreciate a good prime rib every now and then.
For over a decade, I loved my life as a chiropractor, but a freak accident changed everything. It forced me to close my practice, but it also opened a new door: sculpting. My art has since traveled to private collections all over the US and Canada, and I’ve even dabbled in award-winning photography and barbershop singing along the way.
I’ve always had a bit of "sand in my shoes." To support my art and satisfy my restless soul, I’ve worked on tugboats, helped kids with autism, and even worked as a line cook. I’ve lived everywhere from Colorado to Canada, though right now, I call Florida home.
My second book, A Promise Made A Promise Kept, is very close to my heart. It’s a journey through the loss of my wife in 2004 and how journaling helped me navigate that rollercoaster of grief. It took a long time, but that process eventually brought me to a place of acceptance, spiritual peace, and healing.
On the professional side, I’ve got a degree in Psychology, a Doctorate in Chiropractic, and a Master’s of Science. I’ve spent years studying Neurology, Bowenwork, and fascia work (even traveling to Scotland to learn!). Today, I use all of that experience to facilitate peer support groups and help others find their way through the power of words.
All of these experiences—the highs, the lows, and the hard-won lessons—have come together in my latest book, To Be...To Be With... The Yin and Yang of Emotional Prosperity. In it, I dive into how we can find true balance by looking at the "Yin and Yang" of our lives across four main pillars: physical, mental, spiritual, and material. It’s really about finding that sweet spot of emotional harmony so you can handle whatever life throws your way with resilience and grace.
I truly believe that the way we talk to ourselves matters. Journaling and using positive language can actually help reset our bodies and minds after trauma. My goal is to share the tools that helped me take control of my health and move forward, and I hope they can do the same for you.
